It's all about the sailing
At Coquet Yacht Club we have miles of fantastic coastline right on our doorstep. With a packed racing schedule each season there are plenty of opportunities to test yourself against other boats. For those looking for some smaller fun, we also have several dinghies and hold many dinghy sailing days throughout the year. If the thrill of the race is not for you, we also organise some "cruise in company" voyages to various locations on the North East coast and further afield.
Offshore Sailing / Racing
Whether taking part in the weekly racing within the oft times 10 strong fleet; or cruising amongst the historic beauty of the Northumberland coastline – Coquet has something for you all.
Dinghy Sailing
Thanks to the idyllic location of Coquet Yacht Club on the banks of the beautiful River Coquet we have some excellent sheltered dinghy sailing locations available from our paved slipway.
Cruise in Company
Coquet – an ideal staging post from which to cruise either North to anchorages in the Farne Islands, Holy Island (Lindisfarne), then Eyemouth or South to the marinas of Blyth and the Tyne.
