CYC has grown from its humble beginnings in Harrison Boat Yard almost 60 years ago but it has always been a Club run by the members for the members with flexibility at its core. As requirements change and develop so does the Club adjust to cater for them.

We now have the Amble Coastal Rowing Club within our membership – breathing life into the hand built rowing skiffs often seen rowing around the harbour or competing in local competitions.

We have members who use the Club as a base from which to practice their stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing and windsurfing. If it’s water based we can probably cater for it.
